Give your seed starting an upgrade with Bootstrap Farmer's Heavy Duty Insert Pots! Designed specially to aid in the perfect timing of planting outdoors, our 2.5” seed starter pots are USA-made from BPA-free, recyclable Polypropylene (#5) plastic that’s resistant to leaching and has ¼” drainage holes on the bottom for optimal drainage.
When starting seeds indoors, pre-potting them into a larger pot before they can move outdoors ensures they can grow their roots freely and develop to their full potential.
Put yourself ahead of the game with Bootstrap Farmer's insert pots. Each 2.5" pot holds enough soil for your plants as they transition from their indoor environment into their outdoor homes - all without compromising on growth.
These pots are designed to fit perfectly in a 1020 deep tray (not included). These seed-starting pots are heavy-duty and designed to last multiple seasons and plantings.
These pots are very sturdy. They’re well worth the investment.
Perfect size and good quality.
I purchased 6-sets of these pots to the larger plant seeds in, such as zucchini. These are the perfect sized pots for this. I just planted them into 1-gallon pots and they look great. These pots are sturdy and I should get many years of use from them. I will definitely purchase more as I liked this size compared to the small tray sized planting area.
Great quality they work really well and are gonna last so long
So glad I purchased these. They are so sturdy and I wish I had purchased more. I can start throwing away the “flimsy” ones I was using.

Arrived quickly, can't wait to plant this for spring
I've not had them sprout yet, as I've winter sown them and expect their tini-ness to be visible next spring and I'll plant them then...But, Your seeds are always viable, so I've no doubt they will be great in this instance also.
If a flower could wink, the Chocolate Cherry Sunflower absolutely would. These seeds don’t just grow—they perform. I planted them expecting a pretty pop of color. What I got was a full-on backyard drama starring velvety mahogany petals, smoldering ruby undertones, and bees treating them like a five-star resort.
These little overachievers sprout fast, grow strong, and then burst into velvety red-and-chocolate blooms that look like sunflowers dressed for a black-tie gala.
They’re bold, dramatic, and total showstoppers—the kind of flowers that make neighbors slow down and ask what on earth you planted.
If you want something easy, reliable, and downright stunning, this is the sunflower. Honestly? They’ve ruined plain yellow sunflowers for me. 🌻🍒✨
Planted this is in my side yard, just gorgeous, tons of butterflies and pollinators all year, going to get more and do more areas, maybe even some graffitti gardening
First time ever growing chia . 2 out of the 3 came up. Still little seedlings so far so good.
