I was so tired of throwing away cheaply-made my plant trays -- such a waste. These are definitely sturdy enough to last a long, long time. Also, when they're full of plants, they don't bend and warp under the weight!. I wish I had known about these years ago. Well worth the investment and undoubtedly cheaper in the long run.
