Have you ever wanted to grow horseradish? Now is the time! Sold as a bundle of 3 roots, you will want to make sure to plant it right away. This perennial root can be ground or shredded to make all kinds of sauces. Horseradish can be harvested in the late fall or early spring. Make sure to divide and replant every 2 years to prevent the roots from becoming woody.

Big Top Horseradish Roots (3 Stems)
I planted these roots as soon as they arrived. I saw yesterday that they are finally sending up shoots. I was worried they weren't going to grow. Happy they are now.
Horseradish is growing great. However not one of the strawberry bare roots were alive
This is one of the only things from MIgardener that I haven't had success with. Planted straight away about a month ago, but not a single sprout yet. I thought horseradish was pretty easy, so I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if it's the roots.
Good clear easy to follow instructions and very healthy looking cuttings not wet not dry but just right, very fresh cuttings.

As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
