Monarda fistulosa. Bee balm is a vibrant perennial herb known for its striking, tubular flowers that bloom in shades of purple. Bee balm is highly attractive to pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Its aromatic leaves can be used in teas and potpourris. Besides its ornamental appeal, bee balm has medicinal properties, traditionally used to treat colds, digestive issues, and skin conditions. Its fragrant blooms and beneficial qualities make it a garden favorite.

I havent planted it yet. But Lukes seeds always do well
Best seeds and best gardening youtube channel, especially if you live in Mid West.
Excellent
I planted five in pots. No germination yet but ive not tried these before. Im probably doing something wrong.
So far the seed I have planted under lights has germinated well, although a bit slow...perhaps a characteristic of the plant. Overall, a good seed and looking forward to planting out this spring!

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.
Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
