The Waltham variety of broccoli is a cold-resistant plant that produces medium to large heads. A good variety for fall planting. Waltham broccoli plants can grow up to 2 feet tall. Plant Waltham broccoli as soon as soil can be worked after the last frost. Broccoli will mature faster if planted to take advantage of cool periods later in the season. It may be planted in the fall 10-12 weeks before the first frost. The entire plant is edible, from the leaves, broccoli head, and flowers! Wonderful for soups and steaming as a side dish or served raw with a dip or hummus.
Seeds shipped quickly and always germinate well.
Good germination, produced new heads consistently into the fall.
I never grew broccoli before and I will be planting some seeds very soon .
Waltham 29 Broccoli
Just planted a few days ago for a Fall harvest and already have germination.
I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
Rose tomatoe. I planted 5 seeds 4 germinated. I already transplanted them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
