Great quality seeds with high germination rate just a week after planting

I planted the Utah Yellow Sweet Spanish onion seeds on 11/27 and they are only now beginning to sprout. The cipollini onion seeds, planted on the same day, have yet to sprout. I live in the Central Valley of California.

These have a very high germination rate. Hopefully will grow large in the garden when transplant in February!

While I cannot directly review my results with the Utah Yellow Sweet Spanish Onion…I ordered the seed on Seed Launch Day for my 2025 garden in eastern PA…I can say my order was filled quickly and accurately…and I am looking forward to starting these seeds indoors in early January for planting into my garden in early Spring. Hoping to GROW BIGGER!

I found that these onions were great on sandwiches, for cooking with and for pickling. The onions stayed crisp in my pickles; may also be due to the grape leaf I added. ***** Also, if you haven't started onion seeds the way that MIgardener does, then you are missing out. Very easy and produced a nice set of onions for planting.
