Utah Tall 52-70 celery is a robust and reliable heirloom variety prized for its tall, crisp stalks and excellent flavor. This celery grows up to 24 inches high, producing sturdy, thick, and stringless stems that are perfect for fresh eating, cooking, and juicing. It thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with consistent moisture and full sun exposure, maturing in about 100-120 days. Known for its disease resistance and ability to withstand temperature fluctuations, is a favorite among gardeners.
I have tried for a few years to grow celery without much luck. Until I tried Migardeners celery seed three years ago. I’ve had tremendous success with their seed.
The Utah celery grows beautifully once it’s past the early stages of germination. And the packet of seeds really go a long way.
good quality seeds with high germination rate
I've never grown celery before. So I tried these seeds. They take a long time to mature. I planted them in June after I had my sets sitting for several weeks. I have a spot I can use for cool loving plants in the summer. I really wasn't harvesting anything until September. But since late September I've been harvesting stocks every couple weeks using cut and come again. Here it is November. We've had several snow and frost days. It's been as cold as 22F. There's minor frost damage on the stocks. The leaves are perfectly fine. But the plant is still growing and producing. I'm sure it's slowing down. But I just harvested some recently and put it into some curry and it's got great flavor still. I'm going to see how long I can keep it going.
I do notice the stocks don't seem to be very big. But... I'm new to celery, so it could be more about how I'm growing it. I don't have it in the most ideal spot. So I wouldn't fault it yet. And for how I use it, it's just perfect size for me. I would plant 3 next year. 2 just wasn't quite enough.
Started in late winter indoors- planted out spring (end May). Eastern WA state.
Slow to grow but completed as a great harvest in size & quality. Grew in a trench surrounding with sawdust as it grew. BUT next year to help with blanching & softening the intense flavor I plan on growing it inside half gallon milk cartons with the tops & bottoms removed.
I haven't grown the celery yet, but I'm sure it will be a great product.

I've been using Trifecta plus since just about the beginning when it first came out. The results have been excellent. I've actually only used Miracle Grow before and with this product I can feel good about what's going in to the food and the nutrition level, thanks Migardener!
These seeds are growing very well. I am excited to taste them this Summer.
Concord Seedless grapes look great. They are growing beautifully.
I have never started my garden from seeds, but after watching several of your youtube videos I decided it was time. So far, I have been able to start the tomatoes, squash, green beans and pumpkins. Everything I planted has come up. I plan to buy more seeds in the future, as this has boosted my confidence in the garden.
I am kind of stunned. I planted these shortly after they arrived in spite of unusual wet, cold weather in southern Ohio. Both vines are flourishing. Currently working on a support system and a way to protect them from the local varmints before they're part of the buffet I seem to plant every spring.
