The moon and stars watermelon is a VERY unique watermelon variety. One of the sweetest watermelons we have tried to date, and very meaty as well. One of the perks to the moon and stars watermelon is the size, often when watermelons get large they lose flavor. Not the case with the moon and stars watermelon! Vines yield 3-4 melons weighing around 20 lbs. on average, but can reach as big as 35lbs. each! Melons are green with yellow dots (stars) and each melon will have a large yellow dot (Moon).
Seeds sprouted well.
Delicious
So I took the decision of buying and trying watermelons this season!
This was the first time I ever successfully grew a watermelon. The flavor was perfectly sweet and the size was exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve never successfully grown watermelon in my clay heavy garden, but every year I try again. The moon and stars watermelon not only grew, it produced a very sweet and delicious watermelon that seemed to tolerate my heavy soil.
I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
Rose tomatoe. I planted 5 seeds 4 germinated. I already transplanted them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
