The semi-dwarf plant produces several tasty sprouts on the short, self-supporting stems. Introduced at the end of the 19th century, this was once one of the most important commercial varieties. Heavy yields of delicious fresh sprouts. Wonderful eaten steamed or sauteed.
Long Island Brussel Sprout
Sprouted well, will have to wait and see how they continue to grow.
Haven’t started them yet but excited to do so! Have never grown before but husband loves them so I ordered early to make sure they didn’t sell out. Rec’d promptly as well.
The seeds came through looking great. I can't review the brussel sprouts themselves as it is Feb. 2025 in Northern Michigan.
First time brussel sprout grower here, they grew very tall and bushy, I will say I will cover them next time I grow them, the cabbage moths preferred the Brussels over the broccoli I interplanted. I can’t wait to try them after a frost!
I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
Rose tomatoe. I planted 5 seeds 4 germinated. I already transplanted them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
