AnnualFoeniculum vulgare var. azuricum. Great in juices, salads, or dips. It is a crisp bulb with hints of apple, anise (licorice), and celery. I bought some raspberry plants and potted them up. I see signs of fruiting, and I am super excited! It is my first time growing them. It will be a small harvest, but you have to start somewhere. I think these are double gold.
Our planting season in zone 9b won't start until late September. I started some fennel in flats to get a jump in my garden. They won't be ready to go in the ground for a few more weeks , but 90+ seeds are growing.

Just planted my garlic using Bulb Plus

These are like XL cherry tomatoes (1.5-2 inches wide) that taste great and are uniform in size. I will be growing more of this variety next Spring.
Though they are not named Scotch Bonnet, they are definitely as hot and fragrant as a Scotch Bonnet pepper (and I'm happy I bought them to try). I bought more packets recently to be ready for next Spring and to share with my Jamaican family!
