Ceci Neri, or black garbanzo beans, are a unique Italian variety with a striking charcoal-black color. Don’t let their appearance fool you—they offer a firm texture and a rich, earthy, nutty flavor. Denser than classic garbanzos, they're perfect for salads, stews, and baked dishes. The plants form medium-sized bushes and are harvested like other garbanzo varieties once dry. Black garbanzos are slightly higher in protein, fiber, iron, folate, and antioxidants compared to white chickpeas.
Black Garbanzo Bean (Bush)
They germinated very fast. Can't wait to eat them.
The seeds look great, but I haven't had a chance to grow them yet - I wish I had more time to review them
I grabbed a packet of thee asap. This is my first time even seeing a variety like this. Super excited to grow them in my garden.
Always great quality!

The bulbs were large and healthy looking. Great price also. I can’t wait for planting time.
These are like XL cherry tomatoes (1.5-2 inches wide) that taste great and are uniform in size. I will be growing more of this variety next Spring.
Though they are not named Scotch Bonnet, they are definitely as hot and fragrant as a Scotch Bonnet pepper (and I'm happy I bought them to try). I bought more packets recently to be ready for next Spring and to share with my Jamaican family!
Highly recommended. Plants are super healthy and its my first gardening experience a succesful one. Thank you for this product. I love it so much i keep on growing more……!!!!
The seeds germinated very well. It was my first time ever growing radishes and I was pleased with how easy they were to grow.
