Sanguisorba minor. A Mediterranean variety has a light and delicious cucumber flavor. Primarily paired with salad greens or dressings, this variety will taste amazing in any cucumber dish. Oval tooth leaves grow on an herb-like plant.
Fun new herb I wanted to try this year. It really does have a cucumber taste. Its a thicker leafed herb. I’m going to use it to make a version of taziki sauce. I’m hoping to replace using cucumber. In the sauce so it will be thicker but I still want the cucumber flavor.
I am certain they will sprout & grow , not planted as of yet.
Excited to try!
So I didn't buy these seeds, but I got some through a local seed exchange. I planted them because they were said to have a nice cucumber flavor, which they do, so I add them to my water bottle to add a little flavor. I have since learned that they are also supposed to be helpful in preventing hemorrhaging, so as someone with a blood disorder I have started making tea and adding it to meals.
I'd never heard of salod brunette so I thought I would give it a try. We love having salads every night. We use this in place of cucumbers when they are not in the garden in fall or even early spring. This herb was started with MIgardner seed 2 years ago. I direct seeded it right into this grow bag. Very productive leaves and a great addition to any salad.

I've been using Trifecta for over a year with amazing results. It's so simple! Apply once or twice a season and that's it.
Trifecta has been my trusted partner in the garden for my vegetables and to start my dahlias. Thank you MI Gardener team!
Fantastic Zucchini!! Very tender tasty and huge :)))
As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
