Hardneck
1 full head
Making a stop in Canada prior to making its journey to us here in the United States, Music is a hard neck variety that originated from Italy. This heirloom variety has weathered even the toughest winter conditions making it particularly suitable for the northern states, specifically in the Pacific Northwest Region as well as widely grown in most of Canada. Although hard neck garlic is not known for its storage capabilities, Music can maintain its vitality longer than most! Once harvested, this variety will take you through the winter into early spring. This porcelain variety has a robust and pungent flavor and aroma.
Type: Porcelain
Cloves per Bulb: Approximately 4-7 cloves
Flavor Profile: robust and pungent flavor and aroma
Storage Life: 7-9 months
Garlic arrives in great condition. My harvest this year was wonderful hundred percent.
A little smaller cloves than usual and a little bit of mold on some. But overall still a good value. Just remove the moldy ones and soak the good ones in hydrogen peroxide prior to planting.
I would have loved a few more cloves within the head I purchased, as there were only 5. That said, they were hearty and healthy. I expect I'll get some killer heads in July, fingers crossed!
The quality of the garlic is superior as always. I just planted my cloves and look forward to delicious garlic next summer.

Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
Received 9 or 10 large, nice quality cloves of elephant garlic. Packaged nicely. Planted them right up and looking forward to seeing what sprouts next season.
