What is coco coir?
Coco coir is made from coconuts, just coconuts! It is a byproduct of the coconut industry. Coconut husks are ground down and compressed into blocks that behave precisely like soil and can replace peat moss. Typically, it needs to be rinsed before being used to flush out salt, but ours is triple-washed, so there's no need!
Approximate yield/block dimensions / Weight:
2 Cu Ft. (11"x11"x4" approximately) / 9 pounds Compressed
3 Cu Ft. ( 11"x11"x5.25" approximately) / around 11 pounds compressed
Each block will yield approximately 2-3 Cu. Ft. once fully expanded

I bought Loco Coco Coir to make my own potting soil, for the first time. It worked great! The one regret is that I should have purchased 2, it went out of stock and I bought some locally. The ones I got locally were smaller and did not rehydrate as well as the Loco Coco Coir.
I really would like to leave a good review, but the blocks had mold on the inside of the packaging which I thought wouldn't impact my seedlings. Silly me. I had to completely replant my seeds with store bought seed starting mix due to the previous trays developing mold and dampening off. It wasn't due to overwatering as I had some damp "soil" left from the coco coir blocks that I left in a bucket and it also developed mold. Hopefully baking the coco coir blocks will kill the mold for next year.
Everything arrived intact, as expected. Used to make seed starting mix and they have already popped up so I'd say it's working! And I still have so much left so the investment was well worth it for years to come!
Excellent product
block took bit a time to fully open/ absorb water but was great addition to flower pots and boxes.

This is a beautiful basil. The leaves have stunning purple veins. Pleasant smell.
AT's reputation for drought tolerance is well deserved. In a part of the garden that was not watered this summer, AT is still going strong while the other varieties have given up. Something to consider if you're looking for a variety that can handle neglect.
These things are SOOO fluffy! And they drop lots of seeds so you can have a nice reseeded sunflower patch of these big cuties, mine only grew to be about 5 ft but that was in poor condition so I can’t wait to see what these guys do in good soil!
So I live in Florida where you typically cannot grow lettuce during the summer, this plant somehow decided to go through ALL OF SUMMER and then decided to cooler wether is when it was gonna bolt.
There were major aphid issues on the one I was growing so I didn’t get to eat much of it but it tasted okay, almost didn’t have a real taste to it to be honest
Just planted my garlic using Bulb Plus
