Grow your own loofah sponge! These gourds produce abundant yields, perfect for natural soap crafts. When fully mature, the interior dries to reveal a sponge-like texture just beneath the husk. Curing takes about 3–6 months in a dry, well-ventilated area. In their early stages—while still green and under 4.5 inches long—they're also edible. Homegrown, all-natural, and better than anything you'll find at the store!
I grew these last yeah and had a fun time with the experience,I actually even got a finished Luffa out of it. Very happy with this product
I bought two packets of Luffa seeds because I wasn't sure how many would germinate. In two packets, I received over 40 seeds and all but two germinated and are thriving!
My luffa's are doing amazingly so far. I didn't do a soak or trim the seeds at all and I believe that 3 out of the 6 seeds I planted have sprouted with beautiful large cotyledons and I don't doubt that the rest will sprout! I have kept them outside in seed starting trays the entire time and they are doing wonderfully! I did plant them quite late considering i'm in Minnesota so I don't have too much hope of actually harvesting a lot of the dried luffa this season haha
so excited to get them. I had good luck last year with them.
Only got 8 seeds from the approximated 20 in the packet. Only 4 germinated.

If a flower could wink, the Chocolate Cherry Sunflower absolutely would. These seeds don’t just grow—they perform. I planted them expecting a pretty pop of color. What I got was a full-on backyard drama starring velvety mahogany petals, smoldering ruby undertones, and bees treating them like a five-star resort.
These little overachievers sprout fast, grow strong, and then burst into velvety red-and-chocolate blooms that look like sunflowers dressed for a black-tie gala.
They’re bold, dramatic, and total showstoppers—the kind of flowers that make neighbors slow down and ask what on earth you planted.
If you want something easy, reliable, and downright stunning, this is the sunflower. Honestly? They’ve ruined plain yellow sunflowers for me. 🌻🍒✨
Planted this is in my side yard, just gorgeous, tons of butterflies and pollinators all year, going to get more and do more areas, maybe even some graffitti gardening
First time ever growing chia . 2 out of the 3 came up. Still little seedlings so far so good.
I love these seed trays! Super sturdy!
Excellent choices of varieties, all of which grow great in my area. I can't wait to winter sow them in a month or two. From past experience I have complete confidence that they will germinate and produce. Thanks, MIGardener!
