Kennebec seed potatoes are a versatile and reliable variety prized for their excellent flavor, high yields, and adaptability. These white-fleshed potatoes feature smooth, thin skin and a firm texture, making them ideal for frying, baking, boiling, or mashing.

Known for their resistance to common potato diseases, Kennebec thrives in various climates and soil conditions.

Maturing in about 80-90 days (mid-season), they produce large, uniform tubers perfect for home gardeners and commercial growers alike.

Kennebec potatoes are known for their excellent storage capabilities. When properly cured and stored in ideal conditions, they can last for 4 to 6 months or even longer, depending on the environment.

CAN'T WAIT TO PLANT

V

MIgardener usually has great products, but these seed potatoes are awful. Granted, we haven’t planted them, but several have no eyes, and the rest have only one. There are several shoots coming out of the eyes, and the tips of them are black, so whether they will grow is unknown. It sure looks like damage from the cold. We will not order seed potatoes from this company again.

Kennebec Seed Potato

Only about 1/2 of the potatoes had eyes on them. But the ones that did are popping up out of the ground after the teriffic lightening storm we had last night. Lightening is the best thing for charging the ground so seeds germinate and potatoes excellerate growth.
