Thymus vulgaris. Thyme is one of the most widely used culinary herbs. An intensely lemony aroma with a subtle Mediterranean feel. Great cooked or added fresh to salad dressings. Dry over the winter or grow fresh on the windowsill. Leaves are green at the base of the plant and become a beautiful bluish-green as the leaf grows and matures. Can be grown as a perennial.
Zones 5-9
Germinated quickly
I have been very happy with this thyme. I started the seeds last year and added it to my herb garden. It came back this year! Nice classic flavor.
I never grew this until last year. I primarily did for fun and for my chickens, but ended up loving it for myself as well. Very hearty plants all season and even transplanted some to a pot in fall which did well for quite a while after I brought them in. Another great product from MIgardener.
These baby seedlings are doing wonderful!
Love these seeds. Sprouted pretty quickly. All I have to remember is to apply moisture.

As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
I'm not a seasoned gardener, so I don't necessarily know what's normal or not, but out of all the seeds I planted (got about a dozen different herbs and greens from MIgardener), the fenugreek was the quickest to sprout, had the highest germination rate, and the largest sprouting leaves. I'm pretty excited to watch them grow into beautiful plants.
Gardening for over 40 years. The Trifecta very impressed has all the elements I want in a fertilizer. Next year I will buy the largest amount.
