AnnualChioggia beet, an heirloom variety from Italy, is famous for its striking, concentric rings of pink and white inside its roots. Originally from Chioggia, Italy, it is difficult to find in stores.This variety is cold tolerant, making it a winner through the hardest seasons. Great seeds, well packaged, great customer service
These are my son's favorite and difficult to find sometimes. I've gotten the seeds from a few places and MI Gardener has the best germination hands down as well as more seeds per packet.
We enjoy the fun color of this beet. It seems to be more mild flavored than the red beets and doesn’t stain everything!

We planted five seeds in five die pattern in 12 x 2.5" starter pots because we suspected finicky germination rate, but much to our surprise 53 of the 60 seeds came up! We gave four seedlings to family and pricked the remaining 49 out and everyone is doing very well in its own pot. Grade A seeds in our opinion! We love MIGardener!
