Chioggia beet, an heirloom variety from Italy, is famous for its striking, concentric rings of pink and white inside its roots. Originally from Chioggia, Italy, it is difficult to find in stores. This variety is cold tolerant, making it a winner through the hardest seasons. The greens are also edible, adding a nutritional boost to salads and sautés. Chioggia beets are not only visually stunning but also offer a mild, earthy flavor, making them a delightful addition to any garden and culinary creation.
Satisfied with shipping, can't review seeds yet. Most are for next year, but I may get some Jade Green Beans planted this week after all my beets are pulled. I planted them this spring and ended up with only 3 plants. Rabbits probably ate 3 others, never saw the rest germinate. Hoping to get some this fall! One of the 3 plants had at least 20 beans this week for the 1st pick, wow! Another variety I got from you, can't remember which, is going to go crazy this week after it rains.
Direct sowed. visible sprouts in less than a week. Growing well, look healthy.
Shipping was a little slow, but product is great. So far, so good
Beets were not my thing until I tried a Chioggia Beet! This beet had the most unique flavor and colorful pattern I have ever seen. This will be a staple in my garden and I am look forward to planting more in 2025.
Not only beautiful but tasty
beets doing good

A tried and true green bean variety. My family and extended family swear upon the Blue Lake Bush bean as the best and will always have a home in our gardens year after year.
Growing Chesnok Red garlic was a lot of fun for a first time garlic grower. The garlic was covered with straw over the winter (Michigan, zone 6a) and weeded a few times in the spring and summer but that was about it. I was worried that the bulbs would be small since the necks were so small in the spring/summer, but after harvesting the scapes on the plant the garlic grew a good amount bigger. Just a solid variety all around to grow.
I fell in love with garlic scapes recently and I wanted to grow my own garlic for them. The Music variety did very, very well in Michigan (zone 6a). Not only did I receive a ton of garlic scapes, but I also received fairly large garlic bulbs when they were ready to harvest. Migardener provided premium garlic to plant, and I got premium garlic and garlic scapes in the end!
Golden Acre Cabbage is a treat to grow. It grows faster than most and grew very well through the winter sowing technique. In my experience, the Golden Cabbages are more prone to bugs and pests than the Red Acre Cabbage, but I would still chose to grow this variety than any other cabbage variety.
Thank you for another great batch of seeds. I do very well with germination, giving me confidence from starting my garden from seeds versus starter plants.
