This 1940s variety is one of the slowest to go to seed. Heat tolerant with a pleasant flavor that won't go bitter. Ideal for growing in southern regions with hot summers. This variety is loose leafed and perfect for a cut and comes again garden.
Very good experience, love this company
I grew this lettuce in May and it was good until early July. I put a 40% shade cloth over them and didn’t blot. However, the flavor was a bit bitter in July due to the heat waves. I still recommend as an early summer crop and an early fall crop.
So I live in Florida where you typically cannot grow lettuce during the summer, this plant somehow decided to go through ALL OF SUMMER and then decided to cooler wether is when it was gonna bolt.
There were major aphid issues on the one I was growing so I didn’t get to eat much of it but it tasted okay, almost didn’t have a real taste to it to be honest
Great seeds
So glad I found this lettuce. In zone 10a and grew great for me.
I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
Rose tomatoe. I planted 5 seeds 4 germinated. I already transplanted them.
This basil is insane!! It’s growing so fast and the leaves are as big as the palm of my hand!
Awesome color on these. Beautiful addition to the (majority pink shades) zinnias I usually grow.
I have way more celery than I have room to plant!
