The Kenearly Yellow Eyed Bean is one of our favorite cowpea varieties, prized for its creamy texture and mild, nutty flavor. The beans feature a distinctive yellow ‘eye’ against a creamy white background, making them visually appealing. These bushy plants are compact and easy to grow. Beans are excellent for soups, stews, and baking, holding their shape well during cooking, high in protein, fiber, and iron, these are a must-grow for anyone looking for a long storage life bean with amazing flavor.
Over 100 seeds only about 25 plants. Same with winter acorn squash poor germination rates not as bad as dried beans. Not many meals of baked beans this fall.
It's been two days since I planted them, and they're already popping up.
Received and have planted. Can’t wait to see how they produce.
Good germination. Some pest pressure from bugs but that's gardening!
Tonight I cooked up the batch I grew this year with seeds saved from last year and BOY they are DELICIOUS and creamy! 😋
Took off 1 star because I received just 16 beans in my packet (spring 2023 order) instead of 25, but I do recommend this variety.
These beans germinated at a good rate, and along with this they came up quite quickly.

This variety of sweet corn is incredibly durable in our warmer southern climate. It has endured hot temps and is even thriving. We look forward to enjoying our early fall harvest soon.
I think I bought 5 packets which was good for covering 2/6ft beds
Everything grew quickly, lots of nitrogen fixers and it's all still thick & lush. I will chop & mulch into the soil after all this rain probably around December for the winter/spring garden season here in FL
Producing wonderfully :)
This doesn't fail to impress. Great variety that successfully blooms throughout the season!
Great seed quality!
