Monarda fistulosa. This wildflower is a unique part of the mint family that has a variety of uses. With its deliciously fragrant scent; it is a favorite for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Bergamot can also be used for its essential oil properties to create captivating perfumes. The flowers are formed by clusters of tubular petals in shades of scarlet, pink, and salmon. The leaves taste minty, and the flowers are fragrant and spicy. Use dried bergamot to make a tea perfect for soothing the symptoms of a cold.

The seeds are fine.

I planted five in pots. No germination yet but ive not tried these before. Im probably doing something wrong.

So far the seed I have planted under lights has germinated well, although a bit slow...perhaps a characteristic of the plant. Overall, a good seed and looking forward to planting out this spring!
