AnnualCallistephus chinensis. A gorgeous jewel toned aster variety. A deep plum color that will compliment any arrangement. Each plant will grow up to 12 stems a piece, with blooms that reach 2-3 inches each. All the elegance of peonies and mums without the hard work! This easy-to-grow variety holds up nicely once cut.
The seeds germinated quickly and are doing great so far.

Have not planted this yet but I have bought many seeds from you before and the germination rate was awesome. I have hydroponic gardens throughout my house which I grow lettuce and tomatoes etc.. in the winter months. I love supporting local companies and buying from the USA. Keep up the good work!

These were cut on April 22nd and planted April 23, 2025. They came up on May 4th. I'm in central SD, zone 4b. Next year, I'll get more!

I wasn't sure it would survive when I planted it, but it is growing. Very happy with my purchase
I immediately set this plant outside to begin hardening off. After about 2 weeks, I planted it in it's dedicated grow bag until I get a more permanent planter, and I must say it is living life. It has grown so much since I received it. I believe I'm going to remove the blossoms this year to continue promoting healthy growth.
Love this. I collect stickers on my garden notebook for fun and inspiration and this spoke to me.
