I love MiGardener! Always the best products and educational content on YouTube. Luke and his wife are super nice people and I got into gardening due to their amazing garden videos. I received these bare-root strawberry plants in good condition. It was a new experience for me. They had a funny smell, which is normal, I guess and nothing to worry about. Nicely packaged, no damage. The bare roots were doing pretty well in my own potting soil inside on the window sill, sprouting little leaves and such, and then I made the mistake of transplanting them out into the garden in the heat of Georgia sun and then they all died. :( sad face! I will know better next time to keep them inside my house to grow on or in super shade as they did not like the heat, at all!

I planted these out on Mother's Day and they are showing wonderful growth (in my amateur opinion).

These are the third set of bare root plants that I brought from MIgardener. When I opened by box, the crowns looked very nice ,and I liked the red stems.I planted the crowns and they all grew . I have only lost one plant ,but the rest are doing fine . AC Windy City strawberries are the best of the three sets of bare root strawberries that I brought.

I've bought bare root strawberries from other places and had only half of them grow, but every single one of these plants grew, and has grown really well. If I ever need more strawberries I know where to buy them.
