Ocimum basilicum. Siam Queen basil is a vibrant Thai basil variety known for its unique, spicy-sweet flavor with an anise and licorice aroma. This herb features deep green leaves and striking purple stems and flowers, making it both a culinary and ornamental delight. The sturdy leaves maintain their shape and taste better than any other variety when cooked at high or extended cooking temperatures. Ideal for Asian cuisine, particularly Thai dishes, it enhances the flavors of curries, soups, and stir-fries.
Can't wait to plant it next spring!
Definitely a great basil to grow in the garden — great for pollinators and for beneficial companion planting! Plus, I’ve become fond of clipping sprigs of Siam Queen Basil for my tiny flower vases - really great for filler & even by themselves.
I grow Siam Queen Thai Basil in my flower beds every year. They are a gorgeous deep plum purple flower and the plant naturally grows to look just like an arranged bouquet. My Thai friend prefers this basil for her Thai Salad Wraps and my Mother and I like to cut the leaves and make a fresh cup of tea with them. Siam Queen is an excellent pollinator for the veggie garden too.
I grow a many varieties of Basil and this is one of the most beautiful! I grow so much that I can use it in my flower arrangements, and it makes the house smell so good!
Plant it as soon as I could, it's growing. Would recommend from this company. They rushed my order to me when I requested it because I was going to be out of town and I just wanted to make sure I have it before I left. So thank you again for that.

I got a good variety of seeds. I can’t wait to plant them next spring.
I wasn’t expecting that much garlic. My box was full of soft neck and hard neck.
They are doing beautifully. I can't wait for the spring!
As a homeschooling project, my seven year old grew this cauliflower, which is his favorite vegetable. He entered it into the county fair and won a first place prize. Easy to grow, and kept covered with a mesh fabric. Purchased the same seeds again, this time trying winter sowing in a raised garden bed with 6ml plastic hooped over top. Starting to head out again even if the outdoor temps are 30-40 during the day and 30-20 at night
I had missed out on the opportunity to buy garlic for fall planting. I happened to hop on the website randomly one morning and see the garlic grab boxes so I immediately purchased! I'm so thankful I did. This is my first year planting garlic in Oklahoma and I cannot wait to harvest next year!
