Hardneck
1 full head
Making a stop in Canada prior to making its journey to us here in the United States, Music is a hard neck variety that originated from Italy. This heirloom variety has weathered even the toughest winter conditions making it particularly suitable for the northern states, specifically in the Pacific Northwest Region as well as widely grown in most of Canada. Although hard neck garlic is not known for its storage capabilities, Music can maintain its vitality longer than most! Once harvested, this variety will take you through the winter into early spring. This porcelain variety has a robust and pungent flavor and aroma.
Type: Porcelain
Cloves per Bulb: Approximately 4-7 cloves
Flavor Profile: robust and pungent flavor and aroma
Storage Life: 7-9 months
Excellent product
Haven’t planted yet but, looks great!
I fell in love with garlic scapes recently and I wanted to grow my own garlic for them. The Music variety did very, very well in Michigan (zone 6a). Not only did I receive a ton of garlic scapes, but I also received fairly large garlic bulbs when they were ready to harvest. Migardener provided premium garlic to plant, and I got premium garlic and garlic scapes in the end!
Second year buying from here and almost all of mine have sprouted! Excited for another great harvest!
I am growing in Ohio, Zone 6B. I planted three varieties of hardneck garlic in fall 2023: Music, German White and Chesnok Red. Music was the champion of the three, consistently producing the largest heads with big cloves. After harvesting and curing, I stored the heads in a hanging herb rack in my garage, and they kept through the summer and fall before I used them all up (aside from the seed heads I reserved and planted in October).

I grew this pepper plant in a 20 gallon pot and it did very well. It produced dozens of small peppers that were spicy—hotter than your standard jalapeno. I put about 3 of these in my salsa to spice it up along with 5-7 whole jalapeños (I roast them which takes out a portion of the yea). This little plant produced so many peppers that I froze a gallon bag of them to use in recipes throughout the year.
I am loving this squash! It grows so long and has beautiful leaves. I grow it upward and loves it! I have harvested at least 3-4 on one plant already. The remainder of the blooms are male, and I am not sure if I will have any more. :( I have, however, planted more in the mean time hoping I will harvest as many as this one. I will definately grow more!. Thank you!
All is well and great service...
So far, everything we have purchased has had an almost 100% germination rate. And what sprouts has grown quickly and strongly. We are now big fans of MIgardener seeds!
I’ve had issues trying to germinate seeds bought from big box stores. Come to find out they are old and a waste of money. MI Gardener seeds are fresh, germinate quickly and stay good for years. My Pablo lettuce is still growing and I look forward to harvesting and eating it!
