8 out 10 where fast seeds germination rate can't wait till big enough to place inground

The beit alpha was a great producer in our garden. Looking forward to planting again in 2025

I bought these seeds the previous year. I tried the seed snail starter method this year planting 29 seeds and had 100% germination rate. They germinated in three days and were 2-2½ inches tall by day 9!! This is my third year growing this variety and in my opinion, they taste the best for fresh eating!!

This was my first time growing Beit alpha and I’d actually blight the seeds the year prior to using them because I ordered too many varieties and had to edit, lol! So, even being 1+ years old I had 90% germination with direct sowing and they were over producers for me from late spring-through summer here in South Louisiana (zone 9.)

Had an amazing germination rate & great harvest without worry of pollination. Keep in mind if you want to keep seeds from this variety to make sure the female flower is pollinated!
