At different times during the gardening season, it's important to give your plants the nutrients they need to flourish! Whether it is nitrogen or other essential nutrients such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium and sulfur, understanding what your plants actually need and when they need it is important.
But with soil pH levels, soil composition, and plant growth to consider, finding the right fertilizers can quickly become a struggle. Before you know it, you can have an overflowing collection of products and a meticulous scheduling system that you can only hope to follow correctly in order to see positive results from your garden.Â
If only fertilizing an organic garden could be simpleâŠÂ
Now it can be! Thatâs why we made Trifecta+.
What is Trifecta Plus
Trifecta+ is an all-purpose, natural base, premium blend fertilizer. This soil supercharger is rich in fast-acting and slow-release nutrients, beneficial bacteria, fungi, and over 50 trace minerals!
Â
The combined power of slow-release nutrients and trace minerals, combined with readily available ingredients, will give your plants a visible boost right away and continue to feed them throughout the season when they need nutrients most. If properly applied, it will increase flowering and root growth, improve plant health, and produce larger, healthier, more nutrient-rich vegetables.Â
Advantages of Using Trifecta Fertilizer
Since the very beginning, we at MIgardener have wanted to create a better fertilizer, something that would benefit our garden and help us Grow Bigger! We hand-mix every batch to ensure the professional quality and consistency we would expect to put in our own gardens.
Here are some of the advantages of Trifecta Fertilizer:
No Fillers - Made for gardeners, by gardeners; Trifecta+ contains no fillers, which cheapen the mix and cause you to pay for things that won't benefit you. Sand is a common filler in fertilizer, and we just don't believe this is ethical.Â
Contains Beneficial Bacteria & Fungi - It's hard to find fertilizers that contain beneficial fungi as a component. Considering that beneficial bacteria and fungi have been vital to life since the dawn of time, this is surprising!
pH Neutral - Trifecta+ will not disrupt the pH level in your soil, but instead will adapt to its surroundings, so you can feed your crops without worrying about changing their environment.Â
Contains Over 50 Trace Minerals - Plants absolutely need more than the three main macronutrients! Trace minerals (micronutrients) are essential for their health and development, just like they are for people.
High Calcium - Calcium works to strengthen the structure of roots, flowers, fruit, and leaves. Calcium is the key component in strengthening the cell wall, making leaves thicker to avoid pest and disease damage, making fruits thicker to stay juicier and crack less, making roots more robust to absorb more water and nutrients, and making the plant sturdier to withstand high winds and adverse weather conditions.
Benefits All Crops - All plants, edible and non-edible, will benefit from Trifecta+. I use Trifecta+ on all my plants, and I absolutely love it! It works well for fertilizing fruit trees, perennials, and annuals.
BPA-free, Resealable Bag - Packaged in safer materials to help you avoid health risks.
Beneficial Fungi & Bacteria
The beneficial bacteria and fungi in Trifecta+ colonize the soil first and, as a result, feed the plant. Think of these beneficial bacteria like you would a probiotic for your gut. They strengthen the immune system and help fight harmful bacteria. They account for over 80% of the nutrients your plants use for growth.Â
The fungi in Trifecta+ build a symbiotic relationship with your plant, meaning they work to keep each other alive! As fungi feed on the carbon and sugars produced by plants' photosynthesis, they make surrounding nutrients available to the plants, creating an ideal environment for growth. How to Use Trifecta
While most fertilizers are made for specific varieties, this soil supercharger can be used on any plant in the garden.
For existing plants: sprinkle the recommended amount of Trifecta onto the soil surface around the plant, then gently rake it into the soil. Avoid vigorous raking to prevent damaging roots. Water generously after raking to allow nutrients to travel down.
For new plants: after digging the hole where you want your plant, mix Trifecta into the middle of the soil where the roots will sit. Plant as usual and water regularly. For shallow rooted plants, sprinkle and thoroughly rake trifecta into the soil before planting.
