Approximate Seed Count: 20White Dragonfruit (Hylocereus undatus) is a striking tropical fruit known for its vibrant pink skin and white flesh speckled with tiny black seeds. This fruit, also known as pitaya, grows on a climbing cactus vine, typically reaching maturity 30-50 days after flowering. Each fruit weighs around 150-600 grams and boasts a mildly sweet flavor with a refreshing, juicy texture. Thriving in well-drained soil with full sun exposure, White Dragonfruit is drought-tolerant and can be grown in various climates. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, it’s enjoyed fresh, in smoothies, or as a decorative addition to fruit platters.
I wasn’t aware of the care of this fruit and that it takes five years to get a fruit. This was not explained in the catalog I would not have purchased them if I knew this.
I started just over a dozen of these White Dragonfruit seeds, utilizing a heat mat and keeping my seed container covered to maintain high humidity. Within 7 days, I had about 75% germination, and at 14 days, I had 100% germination. Here's hoping I can continue to nurture these seedlings to the point of bearing fruit in a few years!

This is only my third go with gardening and so naturally I thought: “I oughta plant a few extras just in case”. Shortly after sown, 22 of 24 of the sunspot dwarf sunflower seeds have germinated! No clue where I’ll put them all yet but it’s a problem I’m happy to have. 🙂 Note:
One was not in the photo, I hadn’t moved it over to the larger pot yet. Also, If you’re a first time grower of sunflowers, please know this will not be enough room for this many of them. This photo is of a temporary home for them for just a few days while I sort more space. I didn’t plan to have so many growing this year. #Grow Bigger

I ordered two Natchez Blackberry plugs. If I had known the quality I would have ordered more! There was great care taken into consideration when it came to shipping these live plants. They arrived fully intact with not even a broken leaf. I'm hoping to expand my berry patch with thornless berries. Im tired of the old way of leaving sweat and tears in the berry patch. I'll definitely order more if given the chance.
Trying something I heard about. Planted sweet peas in the extra space around my asparagus. So far, so good.
These San Marzano tomatoes have the most robust stems of all my tomato plants. First time tomato gardener but I have high hopes for this sauce tomato cultivar! I am already rooting a clone because it is doing so well. Can't wait for the fruit!
