Lavandula angustifolia syn. L. vera. One of the most commonly used varieties in soap making, essential oil production, tea making, baking, and anything that requires a highly fragrant oil content. Vera lavender is very fragrant and can be used in any application. Lavender will flower the second year and provide an abundance of flowers with a deep violet hue. Flowers form on stalks 5-7 inches long allowing for cut flowers too. Attracts honeybees and other essential pollinators to the garden. It also looks great in containers!
