Bush Variety- Shirofumi soybean is an early-maturing, heirloom variety prized for its high yields and flavorful, large green seeds. Ideal for edamame, these beans are ready to harvest in about 80-90 days, producing robust plants that thrive in well-drained, fertile soil with full sun exposure. Shurofumi soybeans are resistant to common pests and diseases, making them a reliable choice for gardeners. The pods, typically containing 2-3 beans each, are harvested when they are still green and plump. Enjoy them steamed, boiled, or added to various dishes for a nutritious and delicious treat rich in protein and essential nutrients.
Shirofumi (Edamame) Soybean (Bush)
Waiting to see if any more germinate. So far, about 50% of the seeds have germinated. Hoping more will come up in the next few days. I’m in zone 7B and I put them in the ground in May.
Our seeds have sprouted into baby soy bean plants!
I planted these seeds and got excellent germination. Can’t wait til we can pick and eat them!
My family enjoys eating Edamame, and I love that I can grow it organically instead of buying it conventionally grown from the grocery store. Planted a few weeks ago in my Greenstalk. So far so good, 100% germination rate and looks great!

I've been using Trifecta for over a year with amazing results. It's so simple! Apply once or twice a season and that's it.
Trifecta has been my trusted partner in the garden for my vegetables and to start my dahlias. Thank you MI Gardener team!
Fantastic Zucchini!! Very tender tasty and huge :)))
As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
