50-200 SHU. One of the most highly prized peppers for Japanese cooking and stir-fries. This pepper is also wonderful pickled and fresh. It is hot, sweet, and crisp. This variety is a prolific producer. If you like the pepperoncini pepper, this is very comparable in size and shape, but totally different in flavor.
These peppers are perfect for sauteing, mild spice, smoky flavor
Shishito Pepper
Very reliable seeds with great germination rates
I'd never heard of this variety until I started following Jess from Roots and Refuge. I'm happy she shares her garden with us, and she also tells us what she does with that produce. I would have never thought about blistering these whole, but they are good enough to eat as a side dish. I blister them in some olive oil and add a bit of salt and pepper. I pair them with scrambled eggs and throw them in a breakfast taco. They're good on pizzas, too. I do cut them into quarters and remove the seeds. We use an Ooni oven for pizza. They get a nice little char on them, and it feels like we've gone out for artisan pizza.
This is my first time growing shishito peppers and so far so good. I’m not the best at starting peppers from seeds, even though I do it every year. I don’t know if I am becoming a better gardener or if shishitos are just easy to grow, but these have done outstanding. Germination has been nearly 100% and the seedlings look great!

This is my second time ordering these seeds, they gave me great harvest last season therefore I decided to reorder them! Thank you.
This is a beautiful basil. The leaves have stunning purple veins. Pleasant smell.
AT's reputation for drought tolerance is well deserved. In a part of the garden that was not watered this summer, AT is still going strong while the other varieties have given up. Something to consider if you're looking for a variety that can handle neglect.
These things are SOOO fluffy! And they drop lots of seeds so you can have a nice reseeded sunflower patch of these big cuties, mine only grew to be about 5 ft but that was in poor condition so I can’t wait to see what these guys do in good soil!
So I live in Florida where you typically cannot grow lettuce during the summer, this plant somehow decided to go through ALL OF SUMMER and then decided to cooler wether is when it was gonna bolt.
There were major aphid issues on the one I was growing so I didn’t get to eat much of it but it tasted okay, almost didn’t have a real taste to it to be honest
