AnnualThis deep red variety is the darkest of its kind. A bonus: the color only gets deeper with sunshine! Leaves are curled and loose. This lettuce tastes best when combined with green tender lettuces and baby spinach. Very heat tolerant and slow to bolt.

This stuff is prolific. It took off for baby “greens” earlier than most and lasted longer than the rest in the heat. I planted it as mulch in one half barrel pot around a tomato and a few other things, and I was sick of salads trying to keep up with it. It was my first successful year with lettuce.

I grew this pepper plant in a 20 gallon pot and it did very well. It produced dozens of small peppers that were spicy—hotter than your standard jalapeno. I put about 3 of these in my salsa to spice it up along with 5-7 whole jalapeños (I roast them which takes out a portion of the yea). This little plant produced so many peppers that I froze a gallon bag of them to use in recipes throughout the year.
I am loving this squash! It grows so long and has beautiful leaves. I grow it upward and loves it! I have harvested at least 3-4 on one plant already. The remainder of the blooms are male, and I am not sure if I will have any more. :( I have, however, planted more in the mean time hoping I will harvest as many as this one. I will definately grow more!. Thank you!

So far, everything we have purchased has had an almost 100% germination rate. And what sprouts has grown quickly and strongly. We are now big fans of MIgardener seeds!
I’ve had issues trying to germinate seeds bought from big box stores. Come to find out they are old and a waste of money. MI Gardener seeds are fresh, germinate quickly and stay good for years. My Pablo lettuce is still growing and I look forward to harvesting and eating it!
