Hyssopus officinalis. Known for its upright growth and striking blue to purple flower spikes, it attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies. Traditionally valued for its medicinal properties and use in herbal teas, hyssop also adds a bold, minty flavor to culinary dishes. Its fragrant foliage and drought tolerance make it a favorite in herb gardens and borders. Hyssop thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, offering both ornamental beauty and functional value. It has been cherished since ancient times for its cleansing and healing qualities.
Zones 4-8
I winter sowed these and they did well.
I started this hyssop in March earlier this year then transplanted it into my herb garden outside later on. It has thrived, often attracting butterflies. A couple of weeks ago, we transplanted it again and it has been a little trooper!
I started a couple of seedlings three years ago and planted them out at the end of a bed in my in ground vegetable garden. They are now 16 inch tall bushes that take up the whole bed end of the bed. I do absolutely nothing to maintain them other than giving them a bit of water if we've gone weeks without rain and they bloom repeatedly throughout the season and provide wonderful forage for the bees. Huge impact for negligible cost and effort. I highly recommend this seed! 5 stars
I purchased these and they germinated so quickly, I can’t wait for the flowers
It grows very well in zone 8B. It looks and smells heavenly!!

Trifecta has been my trusted partner in the garden for my vegetables and to start my dahlias. Thank you MI Gardener team!
Fantastic Zucchini!! Very tender tasty and huge :)))
As described. Good germination.
We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal. If you have been on the fence, I encourage you to give MiGardener seeds a try! Thank you Luke and team, and Happy Gardening to all!
