30,000-45,000 SHU. A beautiful ornamental pepper variety! This pepper is still edible, but are quite spicy. Ornamental peppers get their name for their showey colors. The firecracker pepper is a showstopper! Plants produce bushes that are filled with clusters of purple, red, and yellow pimento shaped peppers that point up to the sky!
I grew this pepper plant in a 20 gallon pot and it did very well. It produced dozens of small peppers that were spicy—hotter than your standard jalapeno. I put about 3 of these in my salsa to spice it up along with 5-7 whole jalapeños (I roast them which takes out a portion of the yea). This little plant produced so many peppers that I froze a gallon bag of them to use in recipes throughout the year.
I planted approx 2 wks ago and still no sprouts. Possibly my soil.
I've grown these peppers before and we loved them so I was excited to see the seeds on your website. Decorative in the garden and delicious. Started my seeds indoors 10 days ago, 100% germination!
Honestly forgot I started these peppers later in the summer, as I put them in a window flower box away from all the other hot peppers. Glad I did because my hot peppers have puttered out but I still have these! It may be too late for spicy salsa making, but I can still try a spicy margarita :-) And the plant has a ton of peppers on them! I love the size of this compact plant and will definitely grow them again.
The germination was great and I love all the colors. The plants are about the same size a Jalapeno pepper plants and are loaded with little peppers. They are about as spicy as Jalapenos or a little spicier. Even though I don't always eat all the spicy peppers, I want to plant this one again because of all the color it adds to my row of peppers.

These are like XL cherry tomatoes (1.5-2 inches wide) that taste great and are uniform in size. I will be growing more of this variety next Spring.
Though they are not named Scotch Bonnet, they are definitely as hot and fragrant as a Scotch Bonnet pepper (and I'm happy I bought them to try). I bought more packets recently to be ready for next Spring and to share with my Jamaican family!
Highly recommended. Plants are super healthy and its my first gardening experience a succesful one. Thank you for this product. I love it so much i keep on growing more……!!!!
The seeds germinated very well. It was my first time ever growing radishes and I was pleased with how easy they were to grow.
This variety of sweet corn is incredibly durable in our warmer southern climate. It has endured hot temps and is even thriving. We look forward to enjoying our early fall harvest soon.
