If you want to add iron and color to your diet, this variety is sweet and delicious, with a deep blood-red color and lighter red rings when sliced. This variety has a higher nutritional value than other beets. Perfect for eating fresh, pickled, cooked, or used for dyeing fabric and cosmetics. Bull’s blood is both cold and heat-tolerant, making it a winner through the most challenging seasons.

I always try to buy my seeds from migardener. He has the best prices. But, this year, I had bought my seeds in anticipation of a great fall harvest but I lost all of them. Don't kmow where or how it happened, but they disappeared. Now I tried to reorder and they are all out of stock. Hopefully next year will be better.
Should change name to MI "OG" cause you won't find a better seed slinger out there
Tried paper towel method and it germinated after 3 days! Will be back if it’ll grow way more better than last year.(2025)
Planted almost two weeks ago and It’s growing well (2024).
My leaves and beets are also deep red, and the leaves make nice contrast in salads. I use my beet greens in salads every day using all the lettuces and other MI Gardener greens.

I wasn't sure it would survive when I planted it, but it is growing. Very happy with my purchase
I immediately set this plant outside to begin hardening off. After about 2 weeks, I planted it in it's dedicated grow bag until I get a more permanent planter, and I must say it is living life. It has grown so much since I received it. I believe I'm going to remove the blossoms this year to continue promoting healthy growth.
Love this. I collect stickers on my garden notebook for fun and inspiration and this spoke to me.
