AnnualIndeterminate - If you have ever seen a photo of a tomato that is bigger than a slice of bread, then this is the variety that can pull it off. The Pink Brandywine produces all season long and weighs between 1-2 pounds on average. It is sweet, creamy, and has little gel and seeds making it perfect for sandwiches, tomato soup, pasta sauce, burgers, BLTs, and anything else! Vigorous vines require cages.

I discovered this variety of tomato years ago. My mother had a Meals on Wheels route to the elderly and she would bring one lady things from the grocery store. Her granddaughter visiting from Pennsylvania brought some supposedly special tomatoes, look like nothing I had ever seen before. Planted the ugly looking tomatoes in the garden when they grew and fruited I got an education on what a tomato is. Couldn’t buy them up here anymore in the greenhouse that I used to get them from. They went out of business. Getting pink Brandywine tomatoes led me to my Gardner seeds and growing my own plants in my own greenhouse.

We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
