Of all the root veg carrots always give me the hardest time. Varieties like these make it all worth it!

I grew this several years ago. It took the hot summer and heavy soil well (Wichita, KS). I used it in carrot cake, and it turned it an indigo color. I also left some in the ground to see what would happen, and a few bloomed in the fall with pink flowers! The ones that didn't bloom did not survive my zone 6b winter.

I have not planted yet, but photo is promising!! lol!! I’m looking forward to planting for fall!! Very pleased with the price also!! I’ve been watching for about 3 years, this is my first purchase! I will be back!!
