AnnualGrow a birdhouse! Birdhouse gourds have been used for centuries by aboriginal tribes in Africa and are still used today to create homes for birds. The gourds once fully dry will have the seeds able to shake loose, then be dumped out of the hole you make for the entrance. The gourds can even be painted for additional fun.
Out of my entire package of seeds, only 2 seeds came up. I'm disappointed 😞

I've previously had zero luck growing birdhouse gourds. They just never took off. Planted 3 from MI Gardener and I've got about 30 gourds hanging off my garden fence. I've even had to tame them a little so they won't take over my tomatoes.
All the seeds from MIGardener have an amazing 99.9% germination rate for me, and the outcome is beautiful produce for our table and pantry! Growing birdhouse gourds are fun to watch as they sprawl along my fence. I get a large number of them each time and I dry them out over the winter and make birdhouses from them in the spring.

We have nice fertile soil in our greenhouse and able to control those pesty little flea beetles that can decimate eggplants foliage. I've been keeping them under control with DE and my eggplants are massive in size, about 3-4 feet tall with 1 foot lower leaves.
The eggplants fruit are developing nicely, nearly doubling in size daily. There are plenty of blossoms too. We're expecting that we won't need to grow more for a few years, we're planning on freeze drying most if them.
I purchased several packs of seeds from MiGardener during the semi annual sale, and they did not disappoint! Nearly 100 percent germination rate on all seeds I've planted. The only thing I haven't been able to germinate is lemon grass, which I'm learning may 1 take a very long time to germinate in general and 2 need bottom heat to help them sprout. Even without being on sale 2 bucks a seed pack for the amount they give (very generous compared to other companies, I might add) is a crazy good deal.
