Such great healthy seeds. Here’s to hoping I get a pumpkin and not a squash beetle infestation!

Grew this small pumpkin first time, on my deck in a large planter which gave the vine lots of room. I had 10 to 12 small pumpkins on the vine. It was fun to watch and the bees enjoyed. Would recommend this pumpkin.

It seemed to take a longer time for these seeds to germinate, compared with watermelon and other squash from MIGardener. I had a couple of tiny (although cute) pumpkins. But I'd planted them in a shadier area so will retry next year in a sunnier location. As stated, these are for decoration only, so those with small spaces (like me) may prefer an edible squash instead.

Not sure what I should say. I thought the name was cute and the pumpkin was too. So I'm going to try my hand at growing my first pumpkin.
