Dead on arrival.

Not sure what went wrong but they all died or were dead on arrival. I put them in the soil and watered upon receipt, but they never put out any green tops :(

Albion bareroot strawberries

I am very disappointed with these bareroots. There was absolutely no greenery present. I soaked them before planting them in fox farms strawberry soil with the crown above the soil. It has been almost a month and they have not taken root! My bare root Blackberry's are beautiful also had a couple green leaves when they arrived.

Bare root stawberries

This is my fourth time trying to grow strawberries, third time doing bare root's. For some reason, I am just not successful ever. It's probably something that I'm doing or related to my conditions so I can't be blamefull but... Out of the 3 varieties that I ordered all of the seascape seemed to be rotten upon arrival. Most of the other types (Honeoye & Albion at least started growing some leaves before I probably killed them. Guess i'm just unfit to grow strawberries. My bare root blackberry is doing great and my orders have been correct, fast, and package nicely so no complaints there.

Love MIGardener

I have been purchasing various items from MIGardener for the last few years. They never disappoint. They are my first choice for seeds, fertilizer, and more.

Extremely dry bare roots

I was filled with dread the moment I inspected the contents of the package... the bare roots were extremely dry and the crowns were loose and shriveled. I decided to transplant them anyway and, as I was concerned, the majority did not take (I think 2 have sprouted new leaves). They were simply too dead right out of the gate.
I had another order of a different strawberry that were in slightly better shape and about half of those made it through transplant.
