This is a tried and true MIgardener favorite! This variety has a texture unlike any other lettuce around. The texture is caused by hundreds of crinkles in the leaves. The lettuce is cold hardy and can overwinter without any protection. Light green crinkled leaves often cause this lettuce to be confused with the endive. Not as heat tolerant as other varieties but makes up for it by how successful it is in the cold. Grows great in full sun or partial sun and grows well in containers.
Soft leaf, not bitter, used cut and come again to harvest. Came up early and handled the heat for quite a while with the intensive close planting method!
These dud great in my colorado spring and didn't bolt for a long time when the heat came. Will plant more!
So fun in salads, super.excited to grow this again in my fall garden. The kids and the chickens also approve of this lettuce variety!
As usual, 100% germination and a delicious lettuce. I grow in Zone 7A where we have pretty hard winter and summers are 100+ for 2-3 weeks. Then temperatures will be from 90-95 for 6 weeks. This lettuce went right through the hottest part of the summer. Tastes great and look great.

I grew only a few seeds, but they came up fine, and I was able to get some delicious, sweet melon! I sprayed it once with a copper fungicide, and I should have done it a second time, but I still go melons. (I have a struggle with fungal problems here). Easy to grow, easy to eat!
This stuff feed my garden all summer. Highly recommend
This was one of my first tomatoes from MIgardener seed and I loved it so much. Very tasty green tomato, and even though it was only in a smallish container, it was one of my best producers! Nice clusters (not quite so big and dense as the photo, for me at least...) and great flavor for eating fresh in the garden. I'm not the best with tomatoes, I don't treat them as well as I should, and I grow in Seattle (8b?) which is finicky weather every year, so I was surprised these did so well! Will definitely grow again. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures saved on the vine, but the little green one in the attached photo is one of them!
Love sales. Time to stock up
Pollinators love this flower. Especially honey bees.
They grew in spring then reseeded themselves for fall.
