Rocky Ford Cantaloupe Melon

These seeds from MMI Gardner germinated well and gave me the sweetest melon I’ve ever grown. It was pretty disease resistant until we got into the very late summer. They just kept producing highly recommend am my gardener seeds on this melon.

I love watermelon but not a big fan of cantaloupe. I was hoping this kind would taste a little different, but it's pretty similar to store bought cantaloupe. Maybe a little mellower flavor, but the green flesh does look nice and the seeds germinated well. Didn't take much effort or time to get one small melon per plant. They don't seem to be able to store too long on the counter top, maybe 2-3 weeks if my memory is correct. Overall an okay crop to grow but I'll probably try another variety in the future
