I’ve been so impressed. I’ve been making salsa verde and it’s the best I’ve ever had.
It's been really hot (mid-high 90's) in Colorado and these plants are still flowering and producing tomatillos. I can't wait to make more salsa verde.
Started indoors, then transplanted to grow bags. Beautiful plants with lots of blooms. excited!
My first packet wasn't well sealed and arrived with only 2 seeds. I messaged them and with no hassle they were replace. Excellent customer service.
So far, this variety is doing excellent in my north Idaho climate. I started indoors the first week of May and planted out the first week of June. Germination was decent to good. (Can’t remember the specifics, but I planted the whole packet, and I had at least 20 plants. When potting up, I didn’t pot up all, so there were more that had germinated.)The stems are super thick and strong already— stronger, earlier compared to last year’s, actually (from a different seed company). Flowers are already forming in abundance. Last year, my 4 tomatillos produced buckets and buckets of tomatillos, so I have high hopes for the fruit of MIgardener’s. (I planted 8 starts and sold/gave away the remaining starts, so I should have tomatillos coming out of my ears!) Very pleased with these seeds so far & recommend.
I have been extremely pleased with ALL my seed and garden essentials purchases from MIGardner. From seeds, Sassy Lass, fabric grow bags, garden scissors EVERYTHING has been top notch quality. Growing from seed is hard in Texas. But when you purchase quality seeds and tools, it sure helps. Highly recommend all products.
I love all the lettuce seeds that I purchased from MI Gardener. They grow and I cut, they grow and I cut, I have continual lettuce all spring and summer until it gets too hot. Then I plant more in the late summer for a nice fall crop of different lettuces.
I grew these this year and really enjoy them!
I conducted an experiment, pitting Trifecta against Espoma fruit and vegetable fertilizer on two identical tomato seedlings I bought from Migardener 3 weeks ago and planted under identical conditions. Hands down, Trifecta out performed over Espoma. Trifecta will be my fertilizer of choice from now on.
Good germination rate. Growing well. Looks and smell beautiful.
