Approximate Seed Count: 250Short Day - This low-maintenance variety won't require special attention in order to grow well. Slightly spicier than other red onions. Color is a deep reddish-purple, the size of bulbs can be expected to be around 3-4" when fully matured. Harvest early for a more intense flavor. Best variety for eating raw in salads and sandwiches, or lightly sauteed in stir-frys.
Planning to plant these in the fall. Shipping was fast.

So far so good. Planted them indoors right away and they have sprouted. Transplanted them into a raised bed and they seem to be doing fine. We have had some warmer weather, so I covered the bed with a heat cloth just to be sure.
Red Burgundy Onion
I bought these seeds during their $1 sale. They'll be planted sent spring. However, I bought around 25 packs of seeds. My order was perfect and came in a timely fashion. Not only would I recommend Migardener for future purchases. I also ordered garlic from them.
