The MacDonald Rhubarb is an excellent variety for commercial and home growers. It can grow up to 4' wide with vigorous upright growing habits. It produces large tender red stalks with huge heart-shaped leaves, ready for harvest in May. This self-pollinated plant is both cold-hardy and heat-tolerant and will last for years and can be divided every year in the spring if needed. This variety shows resistance to root-rot problems. Grows best in zones 4-8.
Arrived in good condition, put her in the ground and shes doin fabulous!
These are growing like crazy! This is the first time I've ever even grown rhubarb and I cant believe how fast it's growing. Everything i buy from them grows like crazy. I very highly recommend this!!!
It's growing great! Popping up with several tiny red stalks and green leaves. It's been about a month since I planted it. I had to plant it in a pot because of the very wet weather we had when it arrived; I will put in the ground soon.
Plant came up fine, now I just have to wait for a couple of years. Thank for sending a healthy new plant. Great company!
I'm extremely pleased with the crowns I purchased. Another excellent product from a top notch company!
So far all 6 seeds that I planted have germinated and are growing well. I am planning on transplanting them into bigger pots soon until they’re ready for the garden.
My old reliable variety, always produces an abundance of tomatoes towards the end of the season!
Little pepper plants popped up quickly, they seem to be doing very well thus far.
Really great germination, I am currently growing them in my hydroponic system.
I gave one to my partner last summer... he said, "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE??"
This variety will be in my garden until I can no longer garden!
