AnnualWhite stems with dark green leaves. Plants are heat tolerant and make a delicious addition to salads. This variety has a mild, sweet flavor that is more understated than other varieties. Early maturing and super productive. This is one of the most prolific varieties of chard. Grows 18-24" tall.
I have stuck with this variety for the last few years, because it grows quickly and seems to be more cold tolerant. The flavor is good as well.

I get email reminders to review products on occasion, but the review request doesn't show which product I am supposed to review, just says how long ago I bought the item in question. I almost always buy more than one thing per order. I dont know exactly which item this is for. I did order 9 packs of seeds and some garlic on this particular order. The garlic is doing well, still early days, but it has sprouted, and all the cool weather packs of seeds are started and germination is nearly 100%. I love buying next years' seed at a discount of 50% off. Makes me feel even better knowing how much money I'm saving and the health benefits of organically grown heirloom food that goes garden to table in minutes, full of vitamins and minerals that are lost in the transport from typical monoculture farm to grocery store shelves.

Great germination and came well packaged
We planted five seeds in five die pattern in 12 x 2.5" starter pots because we suspected finicky germination rate, but much to our surprise 53 of the 60 seeds came up! We gave four seedlings to family and pricked the remaining 49 out and everyone is doing very well in its own pot. Grade A seeds in our opinion! We love MIGardener!
Germanated quickly on a heat mat. Off the mat and growing ready to transplant early/mid april. Excited for leeks this autumn
Last year I bought seeds from my local store and I didnt get anything to germinate. This year I purchased all my seeds from MIGardener and I've had to give seedlings away cause nearly all the seeds sprouted!!!

My only complaint is that I was not prepared for how well and fast all of the seeds would grow soI had to pot up earlier than expected! I am very happy with all of the seeds I have purchased from here!
