Winter Vine. An outstanding winter vegetable, easy to grow and prolific. Golden Hubbard is similar to other Hubbard varieties, but this one is brightly colored with flesh that is vibrantly orange. Thick skin, sweet, and excellent tasting. Delicious in pies or cut into serving size pieces to be baked, steamed, broiled or mashed. More productive than other Hubbards because of its slightly smaller fruits.
Love the variety of seeds and pricing! All seeds germinate well. Growing and thriving! Can not wait for harvest time! Love the Migardener Community and tips!
Golden Hubbard Squash
Exactly as it was described when I ordered, and I’ve had a good germination thus far.
Looking forward to growing this variety - so far all seeds have germinated. These are supposed to do well in zone 5.
Im excited to try this. I tried you long pumpkins last year and loved them.

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.
Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
