Aquilegia x hybrida. An enchanting double petaled variety with multi colored blooms. Long stems, perfect for whimsical arrangements. Will bloom in spring of their second year. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators to the garden.
Zones 3-9
Haven't planted yet but I am sure they will be beautiful!
Great packaging and excellent service!
Wow! My Columbine bloomed the second year with fanciful double petticoats blooms turned downwards in purples, pinks and whites.
I winter-sowed these and planted them in a part shade in Zone 6B. The first year they were 16" plants. The plants matured to 36" the second year and the bloom show was stunning. They produce a lot of seed which were easy to collect as the seed stalks dry.
Won't be planting til spring but the price is great
Haven't planted the columbine seed I ordered yet, but as always my order arrived quickly and complete with all the items in my order. Thank you MI Gardener for your quality seeds, affordability, attention to detail and caring about the customer experience.

Arrived quickly, can't wait to plant this for spring
I've not had them sprout yet, as I've winter sown them and expect their tini-ness to be visible next spring and I'll plant them then...But, Your seeds are always viable, so I've no doubt they will be great in this instance also.
If a flower could wink, the Chocolate Cherry Sunflower absolutely would. These seeds don’t just grow—they perform. I planted them expecting a pretty pop of color. What I got was a full-on backyard drama starring velvety mahogany petals, smoldering ruby undertones, and bees treating them like a five-star resort.
These little overachievers sprout fast, grow strong, and then burst into velvety red-and-chocolate blooms that look like sunflowers dressed for a black-tie gala.
They’re bold, dramatic, and total showstoppers—the kind of flowers that make neighbors slow down and ask what on earth you planted.
If you want something easy, reliable, and downright stunning, this is the sunflower. Honestly? They’ve ruined plain yellow sunflowers for me. 🌻🍒✨
Planted this is in my side yard, just gorgeous, tons of butterflies and pollinators all year, going to get more and do more areas, maybe even some graffitti gardening
First time ever growing chia . 2 out of the 3 came up. Still little seedlings so far so good.
