AnnualFoeniculum vulgare var. azuricum. Great in juices, salads, or dips. It is a crisp bulb with hints of apple, anise (licorice), and celery. High in phytonutrients, Vitamins C and A, with minerals Potassium, Iron, and Magnesium. This is a very underappreciated vegetable and is beginning to make spotlights among the health community. Easy DIY Health Juice: 7 oranges and about 1/2 an entire fennel with a bit of lemon, makes wonderful zesty juice!

I bought some raspberry plants and potted them up. I see signs of fruiting, and I am super excited! It is my first time growing them. It will be a small harvest, but you have to start somewhere. I think these are double gold.
Our planting season in zone 9b won't start until late September. I started some fennel in flats to get a jump in my garden. They won't be ready to go in the ground for a few more weeks , but 90+ seeds are growing.

Last year I decided to plant a "tunnel" of sunflowers on the other side of my tall blueberry bushes and these added a colorful variety to the typical yellow! These are now a favorite that will be a "grow again!"
I received a packet of this mix with a previous greenstalk order through MIgardener (best price around!) and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to grow and how delicious it was! I’ve never grown salad greens before and this was the perfect mix. Even after burning out on gardening late in the summer, I will always look forward to growing this salad green mix in the spring. Our banana peppers arrived fairly quickly, even though there was a winter storm in Michigan.
I'm sure they will do well, as most seeds from Migardener do well.
I’ve been growing these for multiple years now. I love all the little surprises that come up. I have quite a collection of cactus plants now, thanks to these seed packets.
