This was my first time growing Jersey Wakefield. I threw seeds in late summer and had beautiful cabbage plants mid November.
All has germinated and it is growing well! Very pleased!
Early Jersey Wakefield Cabbage
Seedlings survived 20° night time temps with a frost cloth. Had some others in a plastic makeshift greenhouse that took minor damage but made a full recovery. Can’t wait to taste it once it’s bigger. Seemed to be good seed germination but this is my first garden since childhood so not too hard to impress me.
